New Mexican Holiday

While my best B, Sarah Z, is visiting New Mexico she asked me (Neil Marek) to post for her, I've never really blogged before so here goes nothin. Oh and sorry in advance to sarah about using the old photo ( sorry couldn't find one of us with you and a good middle hair part)

Van der Hem and Heat

Recently at Sotheby's Amsterdam, these van der Hems sold during one of their auctions. Van der Hem's work is similar to that of Alfons Mucha another artist of the time, in that he drew a lot women of the period, and he too did advertisements. 

While it has been quite hot this summer (as I have been complaining about before), swimming and working have been the best ways to escape the heat. Hope ya ain't sweating balls.

Neil Marek

My best friend Neil Marek is a very talented individual, and is a fashion design major here at UNT. Here is some of the latest work that he's done this summer. The pieces are inspired partially by Zana Bayne of Garbage Dress.

It's supposed to be in the 100s AGAIN. I leave for NM in 3 days!

I have been working at Nordstrom all summer, and I purchased a pair of Ray Ban "Club Masters" that I am thrilled about. I was unsure about them, but now that I have them, I am in love.

The weather here is 87, and considering our summers, that is a cold front. I leave for New Mexico in 5 days. I can't wait.
