Already today I have taken two tests, managed to get my roommates car suck in our backyard because of the mud, got a parking ticket, and blew 10 all on breakfast tacos, and it's just now lunch time. GREAT MONDAY

And speaking of weaving, the Dallas high-end department store, Stanley Korshak, recently picked up the line Goods of Conscience. Designed by the elusive Father Andrew O'Connor (priest, artist, fashion designer, social activist, philosopher), the brand makes beautiful clothing from traditional back-strap weaving by fairly paid Mayan people. O'Connor believes that art can change the world, and he's doing his part.

This afternoon I'm going to private viewing of ancient textiles at the Dallas Museum of Art for my advanced weaving class. I'm excited!

Last night I had some work up in my first show at 500x Gallery in Dallas. The reception was great, and I'm glad to have had my friends around me. And now, onto homework.
